In Sankara, Doctor’s Day  is celebrated on 1st of July every year to thank Physicians and Doctors for their dedicated services to the patients.Doctor’s Day is observed to lay emphasis on the value of doctors in our everyday lives.

Students of Sankara visit the nearby hospitals and clinics to greet the doctors.

The doctors are given mementos and gifts on this day as a token of our  love, appreciation and gratitude.
