Sri Sankara Vidya Kendra has partnered with IIT Madras for its School Connect Program.

Through this partnership, Grade 11 students at Sri Sankara Vidya Kendra will have the opportunity to participate in 8-week online courses focusing on cutting-edge technologies like Data Science and AI, and Electronic Systems. 

The IIT Madras School Connect Program aims to:

• Bridge the gap between school and higher education.
• Introduce students to emerging fields and help them make informed career choices.
• Provide access to high-quality learning content developed by experts.
• Offer affordable learning opportunities.
• Cultivate early interest in STEM.
• Promote foundational understanding of cutting-edge subjects. 

The program structure typically includes weekly pre-recorded videos, live interactive sessions, assignments, and computer-based assessments, with students receiving a certificate from the Centre for Outreach & Digital Education (CODE), IIT Madras upon successful completion.
